When video conferencing through laptop cameras or smart phone video calls aren’t good enough
Our livestreams employ broadcast television methods and equipment. Television-level quality is our aim. We employ:
- two, three, or more 4K cameras*, some with zoom lenses, which are fed into a hardware switcher for a professional looking production
- individual microphones for all the major participants, engineered by a professional audio expert
- professional TV graphics (also known as “chyron”) and direct feeds of Powerpoint presentations and Zoom, Teams particpants
- we bring redundant (sometimes superior) broadband connectivity, just in case
* While we often record “ISO” streams from cameras in 4K, we tend to stream at 1080p (also known as “full HD”), the standard for live streaming today.
More viewers, bigger results
For all the work and expense that goes into a live event, you want to get the biggest results.
By adding the livestream audience, you can:
- share the immediacy and intimacy of the event in real-time
- entertain more people
- raise more money
- for multi-day events such as fairs and festivals, deliver a compelling invitation to attend in person the next day
Local seniors
One in six Americans are at least 65 years old. Seniors can be a huge audience for local livestreams because they have time to watch, and they tend to be deeply committed to their community.
But a common set of challenges can keep seniors from attending in-person events, including:
- some who choose not to drive at night
- some who have visually-impairment or hard-of-hearing
- some who are wheelchair users
- some who are immuno-compromised and limit exposure to crowds
Busy adults
In 2024, we live-streamed six candidates’ debates in San Juan County, WA on three different islands. In most of the debates, our online audience was three times larger than the in-person audience in the room.
People can have a passion for the subject of a meeting, but simply unavailable to attend. By offering a livestream, they can watch in real time, or watch a recording later on demand.
Far-away friends and relatives
Whether a graduation, a school play, or a little league championship game — a beloved fair, festival, prom night, or wedding… there are always loved ones who cannot fly across the country (or world) to be there. Your livestream can be limited to a private list, opened up to the whole world, or anything in between. And everyone will experience the magic together.
Recordings available after the livestream
For those who missed the livestream or who want to view it later, a recording of the livestream is built into the price.
